Project Mockingbird was a hidden operation initiated by the Agency in the early 1950s. Its objective was to influence the press and sway public perception.The Agency recruited reporters and infiltrated major media outlets to circulate propaganda that supported their objectives. This campaign comprised planting fabricated articles and quieting oppos
